March 23, Friday - Drake HS Communications Academy screening of AHO Youth Homelessness video at the Little Theater at Drake High School. This video was produced by the Drake High School Communications Academy. The Academy chose AHO as their video project for 2007 to bring awareness and the stories of homeless of youth homelessness in Marin County.
May 16-18 - AHO Youth Invited to present a workshop at national conference:
2007 CMHACY Conference, Asilomar, Pacific Grove AHO’s Youth Planning Committee youth for the It’s MY Life Forum: Building Youth Leaders have been invited to present a workshop on their model of community engagement around a critical youth issue.

June 9, Saturday - Private Fundraising Dinner Party and AHO's It's MY Life: Building Youth Leaders Now and for the Future world premiere video narrated by Peter Coyote. Party produced and hosted by AHO board member and benefactor Larry Goldfarb, principle LRG Capital. Surprise guests will be joining the party.
October 24, Wednesday - AHO 2nd Annual Community Jam Party - 142 Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley.

Produced by youth leaders ages 14 to 28 from all socio-economic backgrounds in Marin County along with political leaders who will address the "invisible" and growing trend of youth homelessness in Marin County.

Highlights the plight of transitional age youth and a growing trend
- homelessness among young adults ages 18 to 25 -
The Ambassadors of Hope and Opportunity (AHO) nonprofit
www.ahoproject.org, a Mill Valley based nonprofit working with at risk youth, in
partnership with United Way of the Bay Area and Marin Link, produced a
historic community forum highlighting the growing trend of homelessness among
our young adults ages 18 to 25.
"The evening was designed to bring the community together through the medium
of film, to talk about the issues Transitional Age Youth are experiencing in growing
numbers," says Zara Babitzke, ED of AHO.
Charlene Reid, Marin County Director of Social Service will moderate the
forum discussion following the film along with a pizza reception. Seating capacity
339; youth, parents, faith communities, individuals, businesses, chambers of
commerce, police departments will address this issue affects all of us who care
about the future of our children.
About the Award Winning Documentary Film "Aging Out"
"Aging Out" presents an intimate and uncensored view of the difficult problems 3
teenagers face, the film also shows these young people using resiliency they
developed during their years "in the system" to take control of their lives.
Ultimately, this emotionally complex documentary becomes a deeply affecting
portrait of the struggles of three young adults to overcome the scars of their
troubled child hoods in order to realize their dreams of independence and
fulfillment.
